  • MS0NYM – DXPedition to the Isle of Lewis

The Guisborough and District Amateur Radio Club are travelling to the Isle of Lewis on Sunday 21st September 2025 for a one week DXPedition. Situated in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, we will be activating Islands on the Air (IOTA) reference EU-123 (Scottish Coastal Islands). We are also planning some UK Bunkers on the Air (BOTA) and Summits on the Air (SOTA) activations as a portable station also (using separate callsigns).

We will be active on most HF bands on SSB and CW, with FT8 as a backup mode in quiet times or later in the night. Logging will be instant to QRZ.com, eQSL and Clublog. QSL cards can be requested direct with 3USD bills to G0UOK.

You can view live operating and frequency information HERE (link opens in new tab).

I am pleased to have received the Bronze Award so far, and I will continue to work the callsign in their POTA activations.
