In the United Kingdom, there are three amateur radio licence tiers available; foundation, intermediate and full. This series focuses on the first of these. M3, M6 and M7 prefixes in the UK are entitled to transmit 25w on most of the amateur radio HF, VHF and UHF bands (excluding 60m).
